Minister William E. Alton

 

An army veteran, with service in the Vietnam conflict, Minister Alton began his ministry on the streets of Baltimore City. He later became a member of a city church and was licensed to preach in 1986. Minister Alton has pursued his religious studies through attendance at the Baltimore School of the Bible and attendance at many seminars, some as far away as Chicago. He has taught Bible Study, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School. He is the founder and CEO of "Out of the Shadows Ministry", which was founded out of his love of sharing Christ via mini-sermons and messages. Minister Alton is zealous in his duties as Associate Minister of Community Baptist Church as he goes about aiding the pastor and addressing the needs of the young children at the church.

Minister Reginal T. Carter

Minister Reginal Theodore Carter is a Baltimore Maryland native. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of eight years old at Community Baptist Church in Baltimore MD, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Milton N. Lemon. Minister Carter accepted and acknowledged his call to preach in 2013. He preached his initial sermon on April 20, 2013 and was later licensed to preach the gospel on June 24, 2013. Currently, Minister Carter is an Associate Minster at Community Baptist Church where he also serves on the Music Ministry.

Bishop Richard Wheelous

Bishop Richard Wheelous is a native of Enfield, North Carolina. He graduated from Inborden High School. He worked in many different vocational capacities over the years. He was a member of the Mount Sinai Baptist Church where he was ordained as a Deacon and later as Associate Minister. He attended the Community Bible Institute and Seminary located in Brooklyn, New York. He received a Bachelor of Theology degree from Lighthouse Christian College in Beebe, Arkansas. He is a member of the Metropolitan Ministers’ Interdenominational Conference where he served as financial secretary. Bishop Wheelous was the pastor of Charity Baptist Church of Christ for 19 years until he retired in 2025. Under his leadership, the church expanded in membership and in church ministries. Bishop Wheelous is married to Deaconess Nora Wheelous, and he is a proud father and grandfather.
